School of International Management

Welcome to the School of International Management at Modul University Vienna

Led by Prof. Dr. Horst Treiblmaier, we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive education in international management and conducting cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in key areas. Our program and research focus on various topics, including Blockchain, cryptoeconomics, disruptive impact of technology, supply chain management, and more. In the field of marketing, research concentrates on how consumers respond to new technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality, digital signage systems and electronic shelf labels. Another research cluster evolves around the questions how marketing communication has changed in the last decades and how marketers need to adapt their communication strategy to new trends (i.e. selfie campaigns, media multitasking, influencer marketing).

At the School of International Management, we are committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment where students gain practical knowledge and develop critical thinking skills. Our research contributes to advancements in the field and provides valuable insights for real-world applications.
