Short BIO
Simon Hibbert is a Lecturer in the Department of International Management. He is an internationally experienced educator, civil engineer, and venture capital investment manager. Simon has a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from University of New South Wales, and an MBA from University of Western Australia, awarded director’s commendation. He is the recipient of an Excellence in Teaching award from Modul University.
Research
Simon’s main research interest is international venture capital investment market characteristics and critical success factors in the rapid growth of early-stage technology venture companies. He also researches and lectures in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), focusing on didactics and applications.
